GUEST stands for the German-US-Economic-Studies Term Student Exchange Programme between the Faculty of Economics and Management at Leibniz University Hanover and the Department of Economics of the school of Business Administration at California State Polytechnic University Pomona. CalPoly Pomona is located near Los Angeles, California. The GUEST programme consists of two parts, the HISSEMA (Hanover International Summer School of Economics and Management) and one semester at CalPoly in Pomona.

Part 1. Participation in HISSEMA
The HISSEMA (Hanover International Summer School of Economics and Management) offers international students the opportunity to gain study experience in Germany and to follow to lectures on economics and business administration in English, for which credits can be obtained.
For the German GUEST students, HISSEMA is part of the exchange programme. Participation is also possible - to a limited extent and under certain conditions - for German students of the Faculty of Economics at LUH who do not participate in the GUEST programme.

Part 2: Winter Semester at the CalPoly Pomona
The Winter term of the American academic year opens up the possibility for students of the Faculty of Economics and Management in Hanover to spend a semester abroad in the USA.Courses on economics and business administration successfully completed can be integrated in the B.Sc. programme in Hanover. The conditions for individual recognition apply to WiING students
