Subject, Research and Teaching

The Institute of Innovation Economics provides research to detect inefficiencies in the innovation process. Based on our insights, we develop and test interventions to reduce these inefficiencies. We work with quantitative economic methods such as randomized controlled trials, causal analysis based on observational data or behavioral economic theories. We provide teaching on topics of innovation economics and on economic methods both in German and in English language.
