Summer School at the University of Antwerp

After a series of succesful editions in Antwerp, this year we proudly introduce the very first South African edition of this programma. The winter school will take place at the Gordon Institute of Business Science, Johannesburg, South Africa in order to explore the industry from a fresh and unique perspective.

Dear Students

We would like to inform you about our upcoming winter school 'From Mine to Finger', organised by the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC), the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) and the University of Antwerp.

After a series of succesful editions in Antwerp, this year we proudly introduce the very first South African edition of this programma. The winter school will take place at the Gordon Institute of Business Science, Johannesburg, South Africa in order to explore the industry from a fresh and unique perspective.

Throughout this intensive programme, participants will discover the world of diamonds in every aspect. The course includes fascinating site visits, lectures, workshops and keynotes by internationally renowned academics and professionals.

Who?

The winter school is designed for  final year Bachelor students and Master students from different disciplines, as well as for  young professionals and researchers, interested in deepening their knowledge about diamonds and the industry. 

Credits

3 ECTS credits are awarded upon successful completion of the programme. All certificates of completion are issued as a micro-credential.

Tuition fee

€600

Students from University of Antwerp are entitled to a refund of €150 after completion of the winter school.
